Black Bear Hunting and Moose Hunting Packages are a very important part of our fall season, and can be combined with excellent fall fishing. You may want to take in some grouse hunting or duck hunting also, or sit back and simply enjoy the fantastic Ontario fall colors.

This is truly the home of the lordly moose. Our very high percentage of kills every year gives ample proof of our claim. Hunting may be done within a few minutes of camp. Every care is taken to see that your kill is prepared and maintained in excellent condition. Moose hunting is our specialty.

Many of our hunters get their moose early in the week, so you may care to bring a little fishing gear to take advantage of our fine fishing - but please remember, the airways do require you to keep your weight down.

Enjoy phenomenal archery moose hunting from one of our exclusive lakes, favorably situated in a very highly populated moose region of Ontario! These 1000 lb-plus behemoths of the north are one of the most sought after game animals in the world! Their stately stature and extraordinary physical form make a moose hunt an unparalleled experience.

The Due North hunting package will provide the hunting party with a DVD system that is designed to educate and prepare the hunters for their moose experience.  This program has been produced by an archery hunter and is extremely valuable to your success.  Our camps are prepared in advance with sites ready for your use. 

This is moose country and Onaway Lodge is no exception. We offer trophy moose hunting. Onaway provides guided hunts whether hunt areas are accessed by water or road the area around Onaway Lodge provides acres of prime moose habitat.

While adult tags are limited there are tags available for calves. Onaway’s guests have successfully hunted their tags each year. If you are interested in a hunting trip it is best to call in advance to discuss availability of tags and costs. With miles of bush roads the opportunities for seeing grouse is a sure thing. A walk within camp property can produce success.

Trophy whitetail deer are abundant on the islands of Lake of the Woods and while guides are not necessary, they can help you get the deer of your dreams!

Lac Seul & surrounding area has excellent Grouse, Bear, Moose & Wolf Hunting, which we offer at our Main Base or McKenzie Bay Outpost on Lac Seul along with our Walsten Outposts Fly-Ins.

These guys are committed to building quality stands, clearing shooting lanes that give you clear view to your target, pre-baiting and maintaining multiple sites on several of our Bear Management Areas, timing hits to give you estimates on peak times to be on your stand, and remain on call for you when your animal is down. They will retrieve your animal, clean, quarter, freeze and store the meat, and prepare the hide for you.

For the last 20 years, our repeat hunting guests from Southern Ontario and Northern States have enjoyed our seemingly endless miles of hunting paradise.  Catering to the hunter in several unique manners, we offer complete freezer service, butcher service, well appointed cabins with full kitchen services all at very reasonable rates. For those calling ahead, we will pick up everything you'll need for a week or two stay.  If a quick hunting weekend is your pleasure, we'll pick you up from the airport as well and get you back via our limosene service.

Rugby Lake is a hunter’s paradise offering a mixture of farmlands and vast forests. There are high populations present of Whitetail Deer, Black Bear, Moose, Wolf and Small Game. Rugby Lake is a favourite destination for hunters from across North America. World Class Archery & Rifle hunting for Trophy Whitetail Deer, heart stopping Black Bear, or Ontario’s Largest Big Game Animal the Moose, the toughest most elusive predator the Wolf, or if your preference is smaller game, there are numerous trails and forest access roads for Grouse hunting. Our focus is to provide you with a successful and rewarding hunting experience that caters to an appreciation of the outdoors.

Fly-in Rifle hunt, early season in a Cabin, (Sept 17th) 7 day hunt, CABIN, food, hunting license, bull tag for each hunter, boats, motors, gas, all flying.  You bring hunting gear/sleeping bag.  Guides available at an extra charge of $200 per day.  Minimum of 4 hunters,  $5000.00 each plus tax.

Fly-in Rifle hunt, ALL INCLUSIVE early season (Sept 17th) 7 day hunt, everything included, CABIN, food, cook, guides, boats, motors, gas, all flying, hunting license, Bull tag for each hunter.  You bring hunting gear/sleeping bag.  Minimum 6 hunters, $8000.00 plus tax per hunter. No alcohol provided.

A fishing experience that's fun for the whole family.  Fish on surrounding lakes and river for walleye, bass, northern and muskie.  Also, hunt for deer.  Stay in our brand new or newly renovated housekeeping cabins or deluxe cabins.  Children's play centre, free use of paddle boat, canoe.  Boat and motor rentals.  Central laundromat and RV camping sites.  Guides available.  Visit a vibrant wooded area with natural sand beaches.  In the winter visit us for snowmobiling and ice-fishing. 

Minaki's woods offer hunters the best Whitetail deer hunting around. Trophy quality is what you can expect when hunting around Paradise Cove. The Minaki area is mostly crown land which is open to public hunting. People can hunt clear cuts, open ridges, swamp land and power lines on their own. The only cost is the license and cabin rental of $45.00 a day when hunting from Paradise Cove. Licenses are approximately $225.00 and they can be purchased over the counter. An export permit, costs about $35.00, is required if a person bags their buck. Paradise Cove also has to offer baited ground blinds that are rented for $120.00 a day with a 2 day minimum.

We have combined Maynard Lake Lodge’s famous quality service with our unbelievable hunting resources and expert knowledge to provide the highest caliber experience for you. During the hunts at Maynard Lake, hunters are the only guests in camp. Your hunting success is very important to us and we will do all we can to ensure that success. You will experience an exciting but relaxing week hunt. We will prepare, transport and arrange mounting of your trophy, as you wish. Our taxidermist is one of the best!

Join us in an all inclusive black bear hunt. Frolanders boasts one of the largest bear management areas in Northwestern Ontario.  We harvest small numbers to ensure quality hunts with the potential of taking trophy bear. Successful Pope and Young, Boone and Crocket Black Bears have been taken. For starters, expect a warm welcome in camp and an orientation of our facilities. Paperwork such as license requirements will soon follow and take place in our main lodge.  On your first day you are welcome to fire your weapon to verify its accuracy.  A good time to do this is after breakfast, with our assistance.  This mid-morning part of the day can be used for rest or fishing.  During the early part of the afternoon you will be treated to a hearty home cooked meal that will last you through the evening post.  At this time, we will also outfit you with your water bottle, snack food and any special requests we can help you with.  Your guide at this time will have baited and prepared your site.  You are now free to rest, pack your hunting gear… and be on standby for your departure!

Hunting is also available for non-residents and residents.  Deer, fall bear hunt and moose are found on the Aulneau Peninsula (primitive weapons only).  The surrounding islands are available for hunting with rifles to non-residents and resident hunters.
